The 2010 Eastermarch goes with the slogan "Peace on the fields - Peace on the plate"! It starts at hrs 13 at Eichholz close to the river Aare and closes with the manifestation hrs 14:30 at Münsterplatz. You will find there the speakers A. About us
The Swiss Alliance against Hunger works as an umbrella network aiming to achieve objectives in the fight against hunger. These objectives were defined by the FAO, (Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations), and should be implemented in 2015. Since its realignment in July 2009, the Alliance, which is headquartered in Berne, has consisted of a broad spectrum of members ranging from non-governmental organisations (NGOs) to church institutions, from private-sector trade unions to individuals
Main objective of the Alliance against Hunger
The Alliance’s joint goal is to inform the Swiss population about the causes of hunger and ways in which it can be sustainably combated.
